
Kurtis Hoffpauir
(Doctor of Physical Therapy.)
Kurtis was born and raised in McCall, Idaho. He received his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science at Northern Kentucky University in the metropolitan area of Cincinnati, OH, and went on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. Kurtis moved to Alaska with his wife, young children, and dog in the summer of 2021. He joined the Advanced Physical Therapy team in Wasilla in July, 2023 and works at the Pioneer Peak Orthopedics clinic. Aside from helping patients achieve their therapy goals, Kurtis works with his family on their small farm which has goats and chickens, among other animals/livestock. His family has a goal of living off-grid on a larger property in the future. Kurtis is currently pursuing a certification through the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine-US to become a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT).
