Ilia C. Henderson brings over a decade of experience helping patients move, heal, and thrive. She is a Physical Therapy Assistant, Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist, and Certified Lymphedema Therapist, with advanced training in pelvic floor therapy, lymphedema care, cancer rehabilitation, and recovery following breast cancer treatment.

Ilia’s approach combines clinical expertise with a compassionate, patient-centered philosophy. She is dedicated to ensuring every patient feels supported, understood, and empowered throughout their care. Whether guiding recovery after surgery, managing complex conditions such as lymphedema, or helping restore balance and mobility, her focus is always on improving health, independence, and quality of life.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Ilia is able to connect with a diverse range of individuals and families, building trust and fostering strong therapeutic relationships.

Originally from Puerto Rico and raised in North Carolina, Ilia began her career in rehabilitation, quickly building a foundation of both professional skills and heartfelt care. In 2025, she traveled to Fairbanks, Alaska, for work and immediately fell in love with the region’s natural beauty and welcoming community—a connection that inspired her to make Fairbanks her permanent home.

Outside of her clinical work, Ilia enjoys exploring the Alaskan outdoors through camping, fishing, and hiking new trails. She also loves reading, baking, attending live music events, and spending time with friends—always accompanied by her two beloved cats.
