Emma Farris
(Doctor of Physical Therapy)
Emma earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington, before completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in Springfield, Missouri. Her education built a strong foundation in movement science and evidence-based care, making her eager to serve patients and empower her community at APT.
Emma is passionate about physical therapy because she believes health goes beyond simply living without pain—it’s about having the mobility and confidence to engage in activities that bring purpose and joy. For Emma, helping patients return to the hobbies and daily routines they love is the most rewarding part of her work. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care that supports every patient in living a fuller, more active life.
Raised in Seward, Alaska, Emma spends as many weekends as possible back home with family and friends. You can often find her hiking, fishing, walking along the waterfront, or relaxing at her cabin. Staying connected to Alaska’s outdoors continually inspires her commitment to helping others get back to the activities that make their own lives meaningful.
