Maria Wade is a physical therapist with nearly 20 years of experience. She earned her PT degree from the University of Chile in 2005 and began her career specializing in neurological conditions through the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Association. In 2008, she was recruited to Anchorage, Alaska, to establish a neuro program at a large physical therapy practice. Maria obtained her Certification in Manual Therapy (COMT) for the spine and lower extremities in 2009. After the birth of her first child in 2010, she developed a passion for pelvic floor physical therapy, completing extensive continuing education in the field. Maria provides expert care for all pregnancy and postpartum pelvic issues, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic floor dysfunction, dyspareunia, and all types of incontinence. She also treats women for bowel dysfunction, outlet constipation, and pudendal neuralgia, drawing on over a decade of focused clinical experience.
