Graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and a minor in nutrition. Savana went on to a graduate assistant position at the University of Nebraska Kearney where as a Certified Athletic Trainer she primarily worked with the softball and volleyball teams providing injury care and prevention, rehabilitation and evaluation of injuries. During that time, she also obtained a Master’s degree in Sports Administration. Savana has extensive experience in volleyball, wrestling, softball, baseball, football, basketball, track, rodeo and concussion management. Savana is particularly passionate about working with athletes and the active community members of the valley. Savana is a certified CPR instructor and Level 2 FMS certified. She has been a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association for 5 years and continues to be actively involved. Savana enjoys hiking, hunting and exploring all that Alaska has to offer with her dog , Red and her husband Ben.
