Graduated from The Ohio State University in 2006 with a BS in Biology then moved south to the sunshine state to attend University of Florida to graduate with her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2009. Since joining the APT team in 2013 she has attained her COMT designation for the spine and extremities through the IAOM. Additionally, she has experience in Pilates Based rehabiliation, is certified in trigger point dry needling (Level 1 and 2) and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS). She has a specific interest in Vestibular Rehabilitation and its close relationship with headaches, whiplash, and post-concussion syndrome; she is a current member of the American Physical Therapy Association’s Neurology section and Vestibular Rehabilitation Special Interest Group and is certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation through The American Institute of Balance. In her free time she enjoys traveling to new places along with exploring the Alaskan outdoors by running, hiking, biking, skiing and racing in community events including Mt Marathon, Gold Nugget Tri, the Heart Run, and XTERRA Trail Tri.
