graduated from Washington State University with a BS in biology and earned an entry-level Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2001 from Pacific University. She has been practicing in outpatient orthopedics in Anchorage since then. Melissa is certified through the IAOM-US in orthopedic manual therapy for both the spine and extremities. She is a senior physical therapist at advanced physical therapy, and specializes in pelvic pain and women’s health, as well as rehabilitation of the upper and lower extremities and disorders of the spine. She enjoys spending her free time running, hiking, cross country skiing, kayaking, fishing, and camping.
